Buying primary capacity GRTgaz - GRTgaz Deutschland

Transactions made on capsquare follow the Initiator/Aggressor model:

• GRTgaz - GRTgaz Deutschland are always the Initiator and post the offer of primary capacity on capsquare.
• The price is fixed and based on the regulated tariffs applicable for GRTgaz and GRTgaz Deutschland.
• To buy part or all of the offered capacity, a market participant lifts the offer and becomes the Aggressor.

• By entering into a transaction for primary capacity on capsquare, a market participant buys primary capacity in accordance with the transmission agreements of GRTgaz for capacity related to the GRTgaz market and in accordance with the agreements of GRTgaz Deutschland for capacity related to the Bundled GRTgaz - GRTgaz Deutschland market.
• The buyer is to be invoiced by GRTgaz and GRTgaz Deutschland at the relevant regulated tariff.

• As soon as a transaction is concluded on capsquare, the details on the capacity sold are uploaded by GRTgaz and GRTgaz Deutschland for registration.
• The registration process with GRTgaz and GRTgaz Deutschland changes the transaction status on capsquare from ‘pending’ into ‘covered’, enabling the buyer to use his capacity through the applicable nomination process with GRTgaz and GRTgaz Deutschland .
