How to become a market participant with capsquare?
- capsquare membership requires no fees and is available through a capsquare standard agreement (CPSA – Capacity Platform Services Agreement) with the Capacity Platform Operator.
> CPSA – Capacity Platform Services Agreement - The capsquare standard agreement offers you the choice to trade secondary capacity on either the Fluxys market or the GRTgaz market or to buy primary capacity on the bundled markets Fluxys-GRTgaz or Fluxys-OGE or GRTgaz-GRTgaz Deutschland.
- Registration for both the Fluxys and the GRTgaz market automatically gives access to the Bundled Fluxys-GRTgaz market.
- For the Bundled Fluxys-OGE market registration is required for the Fluxys and OGE markets.
- For the Bundled GRTgaz-GRTgaz Deutschland market registration is required for the GRTgaz and GRTgaz Deutschland markets.
- You have to identify the other market participants you want to trade with for secondary market trades.
- Your registration with the transmission system operators Fluxys, GRTgaz and Open Grid Europe is required for the capsquare standard agreement to become effective.
- Registration with Fluxys is done by concluding an MTSA (Master Transit Services Agreement) with Fluxys and through Annex D1 to the CPSA.

If you wish to register with GRTgaz please contact ACCES-RESEAU-ACCUEIL@grtgaz.com. - Registration with Open Grid Europe is done via the Online Booking System Entrix+ or an Online Booking System that replaces the current System. Further a Balancing Group Contract in the market area NetConnect Germany (NCG) needs to be concluded and a balancing group number and/or sub-balancing group account number needs to be provided to Open Grid Europe. The registration is confirmed through Annex D3 to the CPSA.

If you wish to register with Open Grid Europe please visit Registration and contact info@open-grid-europe.com. - The European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET) will publish an annex to the EFET Gas Master Agreement for the secondary gas capacity market on the Belgian and French transmission systems. The EFET annex will incorporate the risk and credit management provisions for capacity products, as available on the platform, and will provide for documentary cover of capacity trades in general.
